self-management, in particular new information around exercise and blood
     sugars (HbA1c levels)

•    1 in 5 people believe that the DVD and workbook has had a real impact
     on their lives:

        •  18% take better self-care

        •  18% recommend the pack to friends and family

In addition, the evaluation reported that people have been using the pack again and again during the year.

No variation in results was noted between age, gender or ethnicity.

The primary evaluation consisted of 404 telephone interviews and focus groups with end users. Here is a selection of their comments:

change and it was a good update”
