Resonant wins recognition at BMA information awards for second year running

Information that has increased HIV testing amongst gay men by more than a half has been highly commended at the British Medical Association’s Patient Information Award 2012.

The award was part of the “Innovation” category, recognising Resonant Media’s novel and cost-effective approach to reaching gay men in London and changing their behaviour.

The “Rapid HIV Test” campaign for Camden Provider Services, part of NHS Central North West London Foundation Trust, increased testing rates by more than 50% in six months.

 “We’re delighted that our work with Camden Provider Services has been so highly commended,” said Gary Nolan, director of Resonant. “The campaign has been ground breaking in reaching so many gay men and increasing HIV testing  dramatically over such a sustained period of time.”

The awards ceremony, received more than 300 entries from an impressive array of public and private companies representing the healthcare sector.
