In the run up to the busy winter period, NHS South West London wanted to promote GP out of hours coverage across the cluster. It is also hoped that promotion of other unscheduled care services will reduce demand on urgent care services at the four A&E departments across the region.

Taking account of the way the various services across the cluster region interact and the patient’s journey through unscheduled care, Resonant’s campaign used an integrated intervention mix, with a range of linked messages, tailored to the specific point of engagement.

A cost saving impact of the campaign is expected through the reduction of inappropriate presentation at A&E departments.
